There is a third dimension to traveling, the longing for what is beyond.
Travel opens people up. We are our most curious and receptive selves when we leave the familiar and predictable cocoon of home. We notice things we might overlook or dismiss in our everyday lives.
Travel gives you a new sense of perception; to understand yourself and think outside of the box. Traveling has given me enrichment, amazing memories, and life-long friendships with people that I would never have known had I not traveled.
Trying new foods, taking on new obstacles, having conversations with people you would never run into at home – this all teaches you something significant about yourself.
Every good traveler has a campfire story about that really weird thing that happened, that one time in…
I started this site to capture and share the strange and fascinating experiences and stories I’ve gathered on the road. After years of sharing resort reviews and travel tips, I realized the stories I told over dinner, the really good ones that made my companion’s eyes glow and my own heart race, were not about packing lists.
I am the co-founder of a marketing data and analytics software company. This means I spend my work days surrounded by very logical people, measuring the measurable and analyzing the data. But traveling and connecting with people all over the world, is probably my favorite part of my work.
History makes me hum. Mysteries make me sizzle. I’ve got a soft spot for the odd, the quirky and the unexplainable.
I’m a little bit psychic. I have a wild imagination. Sometimes It can be hard to tell the difference.
